Summary of the Government of Barbados’ 2009/10 budget

Prime Minister and Minister of Finance David Thompson presented a $3 billion budget today, May 18, 2009, announcing measures which he hopes will stabilize employment and widen the social safety net. The Antillean’s Executive Editor, Jovan Reid, provided live coverage of the Government of Barbados’ 2009/2010 budget presentation.
