Barbados school boys allegedly beaten by teacher, caught on tape

St. Leonard's children floggedAs debate continues in Barbados on whether corporal punishment should be retained in Barbadian schools, a shocking video has been leaked on the internet showing a staff member of St. Leonard’s Secondary School brutally whipping students while in Guyana on a cricket tournament this month.

It is alleged that the teacher, a Physical Education coach, became infuriated when two students went to a club and returned to their accommodation late, thus prompting the abuse.
